About us

I spent many of my young years at Møllers Dueodde Camping, initially under Rose and her husband, and later under my aunt and uncle who owned the place. My husband Morten and I are both experienced campers, and so we didn’t take long to decide when the campsite was up for sale.

Morten and I are both true Bornholmers, a dynamic and hands-on family that thrives on working together and creating a home around us. Morten, who is 51 years old, is a passionate craftsman who loves to do everything himself. He is seldom found on the couch, as he is constantly building and renovating. Here, he spends his time improving facilities and starting new projects.

My name is Gitte, and I'm 47 years old. I manage our family's dynamics. Although my role is not quite like Morten's, I focus more on the administrative side, aligning our family’s new lifestyle with a close-knit family relationship. Morten and I have three wonderful children: Daniel, who is 22 years old, Nanna aged 20, and Emma, who is 18. Our children are an integral part of our family life at the campsite, and their presence portrays an image of a close and active family that engages with nature and the hard work involved in running a campsite.

We moved to Møllers Dueodde Camping on February 1, 2017, as the third generation and have since been a part of the local community, where we spend our time improving the place and creating a welcoming environment. Our lifestyle is characterized by hard work and a deep passion for ensuring that our guests experience a good, close, and wonderful holiday.
